Our Year 6 SRC students are organising a fundraiser mufti dress day for tomorrow, Thursday 4th April. Students are reminded to bring a gold coin donation in support of the day. All funds raised will be donated to our local Wolumla Rural Fire Service. Henry Roberts, one of our 2013 School Leaders, came up with this idea as a way to show the Wolumla Brigade our appreciation for all the hardwork and effort that was put into fighting the January fires.
The P&C Canteen will be operating as normal, however, the lunch menu will be a BBQ only. Sausage sandwiches ($1.50) and Egg & Bacon Sandwiches ($2.50).
Dave Harvey, our school's General Assistant, and a member of the Wolumla Rural Fire Service has organised for volunteer members to bring into the school one of the Brigade's firetrucks so that the students are able to look, see and learn about the vital role the Fire Service plays in the community. The firetruck will be in the school from 2.00pm onwards.
